IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING OVER THERE!

America Voted and.... [Friday, March 30 2007 | 10:36am]
[ mood | awake ]
[ music | ABC - The View ]

So I'm off today. I was supposed to go to Maui but those plans fell through. When you travel on a stand by basis you need to keep checking the flight loads to see if its oversold, cancelled, whatever.. well Maui being.. well... Maui.. it filled up but thats OK.

Anyway, since I'm off im laying here in bed watching TV. I started watching The View and they were talking about the next presidential election and how Rudy Guiliani is a front runner. I never thought of him as a front runner. I knew he was in the race but I've been blinded by the fact that Hilary Clinton is running that I didn't even realize he was too (well Hilary and John McCain, who drives me personally crazy). I honestly think Rudy will win. Barbara Walters was talking about how Rudy handled New York during 9/11 and everything she said was true. I was living in New York City on 9/11 and this man gave the city and in my (and Barbara's) opinion the country a reason to move forward and go on, something the President did NOT do. He attended every funeral, every service, every fundraising event any and all events to support those lost on that day. Yes, he can be criticized for the lack of communication between the NYPD and the FDNY on that day, but what happened that day was never expected or even thought of happening, we all learned our lesson. Honestly as a democrat (most of the time), I was going to vote for Hilary if it came to that. She's got great ideas and also I'd love to see a woman president, but I'm a full supporter of Rudy. I was under his leadership on 9/11 and saw all he did, I'd love to see him leading this country.

Okay, I'm off my political soapbox now. On to other things. Have I ever said how much I love half.com? I used to sell all of my old textbooks on there after ever semester. I'd always make more money off there then my schools buy back program. I just put 10 products on there last week, and I love getting the email "You've Made a Sale!" I'm always so corny and like YES! I like it better then its sister site, eBay. You can get great deals on half.com without worrying that your going to be outbid or something and lose the product. Also the only shipping half.com allows is "Media Mail" so now no one can jack up the shipping price and make even more of a profit. If you've never been there.. I'd suggest checking it out. Its awesome for everything (especially DVDs).

Okay, so now I've promoted my candidate for president and my favorite website of the moment, my fingers are tired! Im getting off here..

Hawaii! [Tuesday, March 27 2007 | 11:11pm]
[ mood | cheerful ]

Before I became a flight attendant, I never would have gone to Hawaii, now I can't get enough.

I don't know what it is. Its a beach, with water, I know, but WOW.. everytime I go its more and more breath taking. When I first went back in July I went to Honolulu for a 35 hour layover on Waikiki Beach but just went again on March 3rd. Honolulu is beautiful, theres a lot to do a lot to see and a lot to buy at the international market place. I actually love shopping through there. You can see all these little shops with jewelery (which it seems all the shops have the same ones, but whatever) and just little things you wouldnt find anywhere else. I bought Michael a ring here, made of silver and amber, I've never seen anything like it but there. The jeweler said the Amber came from Diamond Head.. can this be true? anyone?

Then one day out of the graces of god, I was sent to Lihue, Kauai. I fell in love there-- haha! no not literally but with the Island. It was a lot more deserted then Honolulu, quieter, and just more relaxing. There was a place called coconut grove near the hotel which was great for shopping and eating (though food was expensive, I mean it IS Hawaii!) but this is the place to go to just relax. I see myself going back there a lot, I loved it there.

Friday, I'm heading to Maui for the first time. My friends who have been say its the best island of them all but Lihue is hard to beat. I'll bring back pictures for sure of Maui, but if you want you can click the "view photos" link to see pictures of Honolulu and Lihue.

Its nice to be blogging again, I have stuff to share!

Good night everyone.....

[ mood | calm ]

I've been living in Phoenix now for a year. Wow. Who knew I could stay put for so long! haha, in my past I moved about every 4 months for a year, 2005-6 I lived in New York, Pennsylvania, Washington DC,  California, Phoenix. Let me tell you though, I love Phoenix.. I never thought I'd enjoy it as much as I do. I don't see myself moving from here.

I work for a major corporation, live in a nice apartment in the city, drive a nice car, I'm in a relationship, I have a roomate, and I'm 22.. I'm sure you'll enjoy the new round of blog entries I can come up with. Life changes when your having fun, or moving around so much you didn't even realize where you ended up.

Welcome back to: Life with Bobby.
